Reds Score early, then hold on to move to 2-0 on the season!
What a surprise, -Francisco Cordero got his first save despite giving up Casey McGehee ‘s RBI single. Shortstop Edgar Renteria made a diving stop to get a forceout and help close it out…..This Coo-Coo guy sucks!…ok, maybe sucks is too strong, but he sure as shit ain’t worth the money THIS team is paying him. There are other younger horses in the bull-pen that can give up a run an inning, and will walk every other first batter they face! This isn’t a guy worth 12 million! He’s had a decent career, but he’s not a premier closer…and The Reds cannot afford to turn the ball over to this guy, all year (again). Too bad no team will take this contract off the books for our club, mostly because they see him as I do.

Sapp, Devin Mesoraco and Chris Valaika are 3 that made a lot of noise this Spring, and will be “up” during the year. Was/is Fred “Garvin” Lewis a better option, than Sappelt? Please do NOT let this be another blind man-love fest that Dusty has with a faux lead-off man…..aka: Corey Patterson! If Fred “Garvin” Lewis hits a solo Home Run tomorrow, in a losing effort, the Reds are sunk!
So, lets hope he does well, but no solo Home Run, cuz then its 2008 all over again!

Only 33 games into the season and the Reds are 2 games behind the central leading Cardinals. But isn’t that the yearly trend? Every year the Reds to well enough to keep them in the talk about leading the division, all the way up to the All-Star break. Then suddenly, they disappear. As if they had a game in the Bermuda Triangle and decided not to come home. Lets hope they can continue this 4 game winning streak and keep playing well long after the All-Star break. How Nice would it be to have the Reds and Bengals in the playoffs? Wishful thinking, I know!

Unfortunately for Aaron Ha-rangutan, me and Al Gore invented the internet a few years ago. Otherwise, his little secret about how much he sucks right now could’ve been held by himself and the 2000+ fans that apparently didn’t have shit else better to do tonight in Florida. Is it really any shock that our Opening Day loser, our numbero uno batting practice machine got lit up for 8 runs in just over 4 innings? The real story here isn’t that Harang is sucking in April again. The story is that Cantu could’ve broken the single season “hit & RBI in the same game” record. But Harang decided to turn 5th grade on his ass and walked him. Cantu was up with 1 out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the the big jerk on the mound walked him. You know Cantu was trotting down to first thinking, “what a fuckin’ dick”. And he’s right! Harang should’ve pitched to him, hung one of those lazy curve balls over the center of the plate and let Cantu at least swing at it.
Side note – Unreported confirmed and invalidated reports say that you could hear the 2000 people chanting, “We want a pitcher not an underwear stitcher”.

You know he’s gotta be thinking, “WTF do I do now?” Another opening day LOSS. Aaron Harang-a-steak-over-the-middle-of-the-plate-so -it-can-get-jacked-into-the-mighty-Ohio, is now 1-4 on opening day. Sounds like a good trend, so stay with it Dusty! Aside from that, there goes the perfect season!

Opening Day is Upon us!
It’s that time of year again boys and girls! Another spring, everyone is filled with so much optimism. And I have to tell you, I’m no exception. But I love baseball, I love the hometown teams, even when they suck. And when it comes to baseball I’m usually cussing the Reds by the end of May. There’s an article on a local newspaper site that you can check out HERE . I started reading it, was getting excited then they have an article titled “The 2000s: Griffey comes, woes follow”. I think I might write the author of that article and tell them what a piece fo shit they are, and that they can eat a dick and die for all I care. Then I’ll really tell them how I feel. I’ll debate with people all day over Griffey Jr. I’m totally Pro-Griff. Dude played his ass of for a bunch of unappreciative, uneducated, band-wagon jumping fucking idiots. All he wanted was to be left alone in return. I’ll touch on this subject during the season I’m sure, because I know some dumbass is really going to piss me off about this.
