Ohio State Going Home

With 3:00 left in the game, didn’t shit just feel wrong?  Yeah Ohio St. had the lead, but only by a few points.  Could you feel it? Could you feel it? I sure as hell could.  After they were up by 9, with like 8 min to go, Turner just went cold.  Listen, when you’re hot you’re hot, but when you’r not – PASS THE ROCK!  There was several times I saw him ‘dancing with the stars’ under the bucket, while Buford and Lighty were wide open.  However, Diebler was only 1 of 7 from downtown, so I wouldn’t of passed his ass a box of chocolates much less the ball on this night!  Not taking anything away from Tennessee, it was a good game all the way to the end.  But Ohio State needed to slow the game down and run some time off, instead they played right into VOL school history by sending them to the Elite 8 for the first time in school history!

And before Michigan fans start running their mouths, where was Michigan prior to the game?  Oh yeah…HOME ALREADY!
PS – We teach Michigan hatred early to our young!  ;-)

One of the Buckeye Greats!

laurinaitis

From Cincinnati.com: “NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis received the Lott Trophy on Sunday night at the Pacific Club.

The award, named for Hall of Fame defensive back Ronnie Lott, recognizes on-field performance and personal character among defensive players.

Laurinaitis is a two-time Big Ten defensive player of the year who led the Buckeyes in tackles with 121. The All-American was a Lott finalist last year.

The 6-foot-3, 244-pound senior edged Aaron Curry of Wake Forest, Brian Orakpo of Texas and Myron Rolle of Florida State for the award.

Lott presented the award to Laurinaitis.”

Obviously he is worthy of the Lott Trophy.  I mean, do you know how much ass he’s had to kick his whole life?  Dude, when your dad picks you up Sat. night at the bowling alley sporting a mohawk, you already know that the Monday morning rooster calls are going to be waiting for you at the bus stop.

I mean, how else do you explain the ferociousness that this guy played with.  Thankfully, I was never under center, calling out an audible and have to look up at a cross-eyed Bobby Bouche, thinking bout his pops with that untrimmed runway on his head and all the crap he had to take over the years, using that as tackling fuel.  Just glad the vest (a.k.a – Coach Kline), was able harness that anger!

I speak for all buckeye fans when i say…You Will Be Missed!
