2-0 start!, but Coo-Coo gives up a run!

Reds Score early, then hold on to move to 2-0 on the season!

What a surprise, -Francisco Cordero got his first save despite giving up Casey McGehee ‘s RBI single. Shortstop Edgar Renteria made a diving stop to get a forceout and help close it out…..This Coo-Coo guy sucks!…ok, maybe sucks is too strong, but he sure as shit ain’t worth the money THIS team is paying him. There are other younger horses in the bull-pen that can give up a run an inning, and will walk every other first batter they face! This isn’t a guy worth 12 million! He’s had a decent career, but he’s not a premier closer…and The Reds cannot afford to turn the ball over to this guy, all year (again). Too bad no team will take this contract off the books for our club, mostly because they see him as I do.

Camping song, and some things to know about the NFL saga

The primary reason the owners don’t want to open the books to the players is because they’d also be opening them to other owners, and the revenue streams aren’t exactly balanced team to team.

Most if not all owners can walk away from this and wait it out, most players can’t.
Now it’s not the most beneficial to the owners to wait it out, but they can. Whereas a lot of the players have the sort of lifestyle where they almost live paycheck to paycheck..

the NFL is 30 different private companies. When 30 private companies get together and agree upon a set of common policies, procedures, salary constraints, and decide not to compete for employees (via a draft) that would be considered a violation of antitrust law in any other realm. Its only not for sports leagues because there is an exception to antitrust law for collectively bargained agreements. If the owners unilaterally impose their own set of rules and the union decertifies, there is a very real risk that the entire NFL business model could be attacked in court (assuming the players have the desire and willingness to see that through).

The players will cave if this goes the distance. Book it with dollars to donuts. Owners will definitely survive, defer expenses, borrow from escrowed revs and god knows what other avenues these financial sophisticates can tap.
For those that aren’t aware, NFL offered to show aggregated profits and trends, including number of clubs that have had down years vs prior year (while salaries have risen). You can’t tell me the NFLPA needs to know which clubs. Their employer counterparty is not the NY Giants but the NFL.
I’m sorry but these players are gonna take it in the tail pipe, more likely than not. And, frankly, they deserve it as they don’t realize they are paid employees, and damn well paid ones at that.

The union has an obligation to bargain in good faith.
It would seem that a union initiative to decertify itself so it was not in a position to collectively bargain when it has a legal obligation to act in good faith is not without risk.

- the owners could file a complaint with the NLRB that the union is not bargaining in good faith
- decertification to avoid the obligation to bargain collectively would be a possible defense to the antitrust claim so long as the owners don’t do anything more than what any other employer would do in a similar labor circumstance
- not all collective action is per se illegal. Other than fixing the prices of labor or boycotting free agents, it is conceivable that many of the other collective activities of the league such as scheduling, playing rules and even the draft could pass muster under the rule of reason.
- even if there was liability, the players would need to establish damages. Remember the USFL won an antitrust case and was awarded $3. What are the damages when the union is decertified at the behest of the union?
- the owners may decide to say screw it and let the players have their free agency. After all, baseball survived. The league will divide into the have’s and have not’s, a few players, mostly qb’s, will make the big bucks and a lot of guys will make little money. “Here’s your check Peyton, sorry there’s no money for pass blockers or receivers.”
- another union may step in. There’s going to be guys who aren’t happy about missing paychecks while waiting for the court to grind on. Those guys may decide that they would be better off with another union. Or, you might get the qb union, the rb union, the defensive players union.

Guessing that the owners don’t want to provide 10 years of audited financial statements because these teams are organized as LLC’s, LLP’s, and other tax planning vehicles and that it isn’t easy to decipher what they are making and what they aren’t.

#1 Gators open season with sweep of Bulls(h)

The USF Bulls skipped the Big Least vs The Big10/11/12 Baseball Tourney in Clearwater-St Pete this weekend, but probably wish they’d stayed home.

His debut had been anticipated since the moment he turned down millions of dollars to attend the University of Florida.

As the No. 9 overall pick by the San Diego Padres in last year’s Major League Baseball Draft, freshman pitcher Karsten Whitson has earned celebrity status in Gainesville. He was mobbed by kids during the Sunday pregame community anthem and received a thunderous cheer from the stands when he was announced as a starter.

For the 3,852 fans who showed up for Florida’s finale with South Florida, Whitson showed that, for one day at least, he was as good as advertised.

Working a mid-to-upper 90s mph fastball, commanding both a wicked slider and a goofy-looking changeup, and exuding veteran-like confidence, Whitson pitched five scoreless innings in his debut. The right-hander struck out nine, while surrendering just one hit and one walk in Florida’s 5-0 series-sweeping win over the Bulls(h).

I sure have…NO MORE SNOW PLEASE!

Mother Nature must be going through menopause!, the Frigid Bitch!

SPRING TRAINING!…AND!…AND, the Reds look like they could make another post-season appearance! Well, they could! –St Louis and Poo-Holes are millions apart on a deal right now, he wants $300mil!?!?.

The Reds didn’t do much (admittedly, we hope, they didn’t need to DO much but hold on to those arms, and their MVP First Baseman)…They had a minor signing: Outfielder Fred “Garvin” Lewis (OK, the middle name is fake, SO WHAT!) is IN the mix, and .291 hitting and FGS favorite Laynce Nixis out. This one is a virtual “push”(both hit Lefty). Laynce has more upside (and pop), after noting his suppressed career stats are the result of recouping from a serious injury from his days back in Texas. Nix will be a star in Washington, –maybe not quite the same as Josh Hamilton in Texas, but the Reds will be sorry they let him leave. (yes, he will make the Nats squad, AND be a starter by Opening Day).

Coco “walk ‘em all” Cordero is the most expensive player on the team, and the biggest problem for the team in 2011. He will blow 10+ games this year, and cause an unknown amount of ulcers by walking the first batter in EVERY inning he pitches! This guy is done,…its just that the Reds dont know for sure, yet!

Coco being coocoo for walking batters in the 9th could be the reason the Reds looked into ”another” non-move move. Reds GM Walt Jockety is (again) looking at another St Lou “has-been”, this time right-handed reliever Jason “dead-arm” Isringhausen!…YIPPIE-frick’n-YIP-E! As if his first run through wasn’t enough???: …”Isringhausen, 38, signed a Minor League deal with the Reds on July 22 and posted a 9.53 ERA in seven appearances withTriple-A Louisville. He had to be shut down on Aug. 16 with a strained right elbow and did not return”…

Look for the best chance (maybe “ever”) for the Reds to make a World Series, to be in 2012. Not that CooCoo’s salary will be used for another closer (because we have deferred payments to make), more that some one else will NOT be blowing late game leads every other outing. The pitching staff has a chance to be scary strong in 2012…and most (if not all) of the position players (that matter) will be back too.

I still hate that the Reds left Florida, for Arizona…but what’s done is done I guess. Game one is February 27th vs Cleveland!

Douchebag-o wants to change his name again

Can anyone be surprised, this idiot needs more media love?…So much that he’ll invent a reason to be heard….JUST GO AWAY already!!!!

Chad Ochocinco appeared on ESPN’s “NFL Live” on Tuesday and said it’s time for a change… a name change.”I don’t have a choice right now,” Ochocinco said. “I’ve done enough with the Ocho thing.”The Cincinnati Bengals receiver changed his last name from Johnson to Ochocinco in 2008.

Ochocinco also commented on the remarks Bengals coach Marvin Lewis made on Monday, claiming that Bill Belichick smart enough to not pursue the Bengals star wideout.”If Belichick is smarter than that, then why am I still there?” Ochocinco asked.

He went on to say (LIE) that he does not want to go anywhere else and that he loves the Cincinnati fans.

HA!…”He loves the fans in Cincy”, Who are you fooling THIS time, Jerkass?…You love the Cincy fan because you think there’s NO END to the blind love, and their gullible nature!!?…Where else would he been given this much rope?….Where else would losses mount, and the same old crap be acceptable?…Who else would take Chad’s shit, or buy his stupid anti-football antics? Like Marvin said, “Bilichick is smarter than that”!…and so are the New England fans! Jackass stunts that bring no value to the team aren’t tolerated in towns where winning Football is played….Cincy fans, though, require them to help numb the brain after 4-12 seasons! All we get here are sound bits and twits explaining to us how great YOU think you are, and little to nothing to support the claims. They are as empty as your promises and as meaningless as you self-fulfilling boasts!

So, change your name again, “twit”-man! Maybe “Chud Twitter Twit”? Ochochoco? Chad Zuckerberg? Patriot Trademeguy,..Chad Noonecares? While you’re at it, change your zip code too! Just stop with the “New England wants me” crap…instead, make it something reasonable, like Pakistan?…..or, Carolina?

LET HIM DIE!

He DESERVES to die, AND, he WANTS to die!….Seems like a match made in Hell, right? Well, there are forces out there that wont allow the best solution to be the RIGHTeous solution! –seems this BIG MAN is as skilled at suicide, as he is in relationships!

(Is all this gun violence on women, Jimi’s fault?….or, stupid ball-less men?)

Another weak mental-midget male human, has killed a woman due to (likely) jealousy; – How fahqing pathetic! He-Man Dennis Reynolds joins the growing band of men that loved their women too much. OJ had it, and look how it worked out for him?!! OJ had it all, too! OJ escaped justice (very likely anyway) the first time, but the pressure of killing his wife was just too much!…–and the legal consequences made a fine human being, turn into a monster. Puzzy has that effect on the weak, i guess.

Anyway, after this cheap “Gene Autry” knock-off killed his wife, he TRIED to punch his own ticket,….THREE TIMES!

….”after the failed attempt with the rifle early Sunday evening, Reynolds then dove off the second-story balcony and landed on his back (???? this is counted as an attempt to kill himself ?…Sounds more like a failed Jackass stunt!), police said. He gave ending his life one last try when he began cutting his wrists, police said”…

Sadly, he was only successful in killing Camille Reynolds. Now, certain “people”want to keep him from killing himself?….WHY? So the citizens of this State can pay a lawyer to represent him, send him to psychiatric evals, and bilk the taxpayers out of millions more $? Then we’ll pay to house him in a cell for 30+ years, at some $80K a year!?? What a bargain!…but, but, but, –HE WANTS TO DIE!…Take him up on his offer, before some shit-ass lawyer talks him out of it!

Really, I don’t understand this ”kill a woman because she doesn’t like you anymore” syndrome AT ALL!…..Even as physically unappealing as Mr Reynolds appears to be, how do you get to this point? Are you worried the World has run out of women? Do you think because a woman was dumb enUFf to mate with you in High School, she now must for life?….OR!,..or, do you believe that horeshit jargon about soul-mates!?!?! If its the last one, kill yourself now and save the murder charge, idiot! Actually, note what a stupid-ass you are first, THEN swallow a can of lye -and shake!

If anything, this should be a lesson to ALL those feel compelled to marry the first woman who agree to talk to you! What, she was 18?! How many 18 year old kids make lifelong decisions?!?!?…FEW, at best! Christ, they can’t even legally rent a car!

If you suspect your mate is having “other interests”, try and fix it or just move on! If you’re a fat hunk of shit now because you let yourself slide, and figured you were done trying?…Well, fret not! –there is a place for you!!–You ever been to Walmart? They really DO have it all, and you WILL find someone there who thinks you’re their superior!! Just look at the pictures! –It beats jail, and they have Wrangler Jeans too!!

Chud wants New England, now…

Well, who wouldn’t?…They win a lot, they are well loved by a loyal and passionate fan base….but, will they take to a racist, under-producing, blow-hard, crya-baby, jerkass “twit” happy media whore who doesn’t play team football? Who would?

Good luck in the endless promotion of yourself, Chad Ocho-crapbag! –Don’t go away mad, just go away! Actually, Chud, go away anyway you’ll go!….

…”Answering Rapoport’s analysis that the Pcreate a buzatriots have a need at receiver, Ochocinco tweeted: “PePe and Bill #EPIC.” Pepe is apparently another of Ocho’s alter egos and Bill is, of course, Belichick. Ochocinco has soured on Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, stating that he doesn’t know if the two can “co-exist” at this point. Belichick loves a good bargain, but it’s hard to picture him bringing aboard another declining, attention-seeking receiver after the Randy Moss drama last September….”
This is just Chad trying to develop a market, where there ain’t one! There are plenty of team oriented wr’s out there who would dream of playing for a winner like New England! Chad’s interest here is to create a buzz over himself, and little more. Personally, I bid a hurried “cya asshole” to the idiot who never fulfilled on a long list of promises and prediction while here. Of course, I knew (past the playoff game in 2005) that he never cared to see his lame promises through, because he never intended them to be filled. It was just another way of listening to him talk….which will be his legacy here.
He tried to be Ickey Woods, but Icky LED the team, he didn’t use it to further his after Football career. Sadly it was Woods who’s career was cut short, and not this “wanna-be” asshole.
Owner Mike Brown opted against buying out Ocho’s salary, which would’ve cost $3.5 million. Despite Ochocinco’s protests, it appears he is part of the team’s 2011 plans for now. Cincinnati should still be open to trade offers, even if they’re only in the fifth- to sixth-round range. In decline at age 33, Ocho generated just 831 yards with four touchdowns in 2010. He also dropped eight passes and is no longer capable of beating double coverage.
I think most “fans” in Cincy, saw this happening…This will be yet another opportunity for Chud to prove what his worth was/is…In the past, interest was very low for #85….and that was when he was in his “prime”!!….The only interest that was heard was an undefined offer from Philly, and some fake offer from Washington. BOTH were probably created by the media whore himself.
The damn shame of the last 10 years is had Chud dedicated the time and effort he wasted on his skits and on\off-field crap-ass antics, on FOOTBALL?…well, its likely there’d have been a few more playoff games available to this team.
Looking forward to 2012 season!…..which should be Chud-less!

….or, for good!?!…No, some stupid ass no credentialed writer with a Sony pcm d50 (those are bad ass, btw..) that he got at his bar mitzvah has to stick it in jerkasses’ face, for comment. Naturally these idiots forget they are 2-8, AND that 3rd grade locker-room barbs are ridiculous in a “PRO” game!…Still, this is the WWF influence creeping into real sports, and apparently its not going anywhere since “Joe-Public” thinks its “neat-o”! Must have something to due with the general lack of real teeth in a mouth, that causes someone to find this shit entertaining.?? WHAT happened to playing the freakin’ game?…oh, right, these are NFL wr’s, and we’re in Cincinnati!…Got it!

Terrell Owens sound bites are always stupid and juvenile at best: -Tuesday, he may have outdone himself.

He called New York Jetscornerback Darrelle Revisan average cornerback.
OK, maybe he has said worse, but Revis and average don’t really go together.
“Just an average corner to me,” the Bengals wide receiver told reporters in Cincinnati. “Everybody has assessed his abilities as far as what he did last year, shutdown corner, this and that. He did very well last year. But I think I’m looking forward to the challenge, just like he’s looking forward to the challenge.”
Revis bit his tongue.
“I’ll see him on Thursday night,” Revis told ESPNNewYork.com. “… Everybody knows T.O. He’s going to be T.O.”
For the record, Revis has 17 tackles and no interceptions on the season. In his defense, Revis got off to a slow start this year because of a hamstring injury that caused him to miss two games. Prior to this season, Revis has been known as one of the top cornerbacks in the league. Last season, Revis was regarded as the league’s best at his position.
“No disrespect, he’s only done one thing for one year,” Owens said. “You talk about shutdown corners, you need to repeatedly do it, year in and year out. I think he did it one year, and everybody made a lot of hoopla about it.”
The Owens-Revis feud stems from previous occasions.
During a TV interview last offseason, Revis called Owens a “slouch” when his name was mentioned in a word-association game.
Owens has taken the “slouch” comment to heart.
“After the season, around the Super Bowl, so many media people pumping him up, with him shutting so many people down, he came out and said that I was a slouch, myself and Randy,” Owens said. “You know, I heard it. It’s in the back of my mind.”
After the second game between the two last season, Revis said Owens got frustrated because he couldn’t get the ball.
This season, however, Owens has been anything but a slouch, ranking among the league leaders in catches (62) and receiving yards (897) to go along with eight touchdowns.
Earlier this season, Owens referred to Revis and fellow corner Antonio Cromartieas cartoon characters Ren and Stimpy (Ren and Stimpy, apparently, are going to the PLAYOFFS while “Batman and the Boy Blunder” will not!).
Owens and Revis will meet Thursday night at the New Meadowlands Stadium. On Monday, Revis said that he will be covering Owens, not Chad Ochocinco.
Let’s get it on

OKay, on one hand, I get it…Who’s gonna pay attention to a pathetically under-achieving team, unless one of their diarrhea mouths goes on the “wire” and says something stupid?…On the other hand, what does this EVER accomplish?….Is Revis gonna eat crow, or feel bad, or play poorly because TO calls him average, or anything else?…Chud did this same tired bullshit last year, and Revis shut HIS crap-hole up!….Ocho-blowhard even said he’d change his name back, if Revis was able to do what he did…TWICE!…Revis delivered, and Ocho-stinko proved once again he’s just a puss-bag of hot air. He’s still got that ridiculous made-for-tv asshole name, and he’s still nowhere closer to helping the team win playoff game #1. So, NOW his Batman Buddy goes out and calls out a cornerback on a team actually playing well and playing to expectations. WHY?…so some one will feed the junkie his “fix” for one more day? Maybe TO can issue a similar challenge (like Ocho-crapmouth did last year) and then when HE loses, will back out too…???

Cincy Asshole-player factor – HIGH,…Win total – low. Biz as usual her in the ‘nati.

There were a few fans in this town that saw (and predicted) this coming,….and, there were those of you who doubted me.

Its not gonna stop, ya know…

….it cant, its out of control!…..FACTOID: The last time the Bengals won a game -on September 26th- the Reds hadn’t yet clinched the NL Central -ouch! Thankfully, there are still camera’s at the games!

THE Bungles are gonna beat bUFfalo, sure, but then its back to their familiar ways. They are gonna finish with 6 wins, and even one will be a “BIG” win….still, 6-10 with small promise will only help Mikey Brown sell more promise, in 2011. And as good little payees, most will buy in again next year.

This (season) isn’t just a disappointment.  This season is business as usual for Mike Brown’s Bengals, and 2005\2009 serve as just aberrations from the norm over the past 20 years.  Let’s not over glorify the 2005 and 2009 season’s either…They ended with exactly zero playoff wins.  Anywhere outside of Cincinnati, that is a stupentous disaster of a season.

Many NFL “people” are saying that the Bungle 2010 flop is on kiel with the Dallas and Minny-sota slides. They are right, of course, but they fail to factor in the Mikey Brown element!

So, what’s the answer?….Stop attending games?…Join forces with the Steelers? (Doc’s all over THAT proposal!), or an ALL out switch to the College Game? Its just not that easy! I know, I’ve tried too! I HATE Mike Brown,…I HATE Chud and TO (yeah, I know their stats, doesn’t matter!)…..For those ass-hats the losing is good, but for the rest, and the town? - its just not right. Can the NFL step in and force changes? Maybe, but why would they? The Bungles sell out, and no one wins from a lawsuit of this kind…except, of course, those leech-like lawyers. In the end Mikey would keep his team, and several million dollars goes from one entity, to several law firms.

I stopped going to games after Chud cost the team a chance to win a playoff game in 2005, save for three games. In those cases I was awarded tickets….I’ve been awarded tickets to several other games too, but refused. Still, I can’t stop hoping that some day, Mike and the idiot wr’s will be gone, and there will be tailgates by the stadium once again in my future. No, I’m not holding my breath.

Really, how hard is it to use your damn Turn-signal anway?

The 57 percent of American drivers say they don’t use their turn signals for changing lanes, and have a variety of excuses;

42 percent said they don’t have time.
23 percent said they are too lazy.
17 percent said they don’t because they forget to turn it off after.
12 percent said they change lanes too frequently to bother.
11 percent said it’s not important.
8 percent said they don’t because others don’t.
7 percent said not doing it adds to excitement.

Add that up and its 120%, so, not only do these f*cking retards lie, they vote too much in stupid ass polls as well! How gawd damn hard can it be to flip a lever up or down? How much mental exhaustion can that cause?
You want a solution to the 60 million city budget deficit?…Issue progressive traffic tickets to these brain dead pricks, over-loaded by driving. By early Summer we’ll be able to pay for that stupid ass Trolley car idea, AND erase the piss-ass mess Mikey Brown created with that sweet-heart Stadium deal!
On any given day it takes me 25 minutes to get to work, and in that time I could write 40 tickets, easy!
Fine these cretins $100.00 for the first incident, and another $100.00 more each one after that!….So, what, five cops write those same 40 tickets a day for 6 months, that ought to do it!?
If flicking that damn bar is THAT difficult or consuming, you shouldn’t be driving anyway! Just pull over and wait for a cop to come by and rap you in the melon with a tack hammer!
Of course using the turn-signal, is assuming your jackass isn’t already texting, smoking, checking out FatGuySports.com, and switching radio channels all at the same time….Still, adding one more rudimentary low-level task shouldn’t tax your gray matter too much (more).
After your 6th offense in one year, your car can be impounded and sold for whatever they can get for it…Eventually you fucks will learn!
USE YOUR DAMN TURN SIGNALS!!!
