FatGuySports.com aims to be controversial, on the edge at times, funny, informational, and dedicated to the good people of Cincinnati and it’s surrounding areas. This will be maintained as a community site with interests in the area we live, work and play in. This will be a critical and passionate discussion site, but monitored to keep all viewers in mind. We won’t discuss politics, nor will we try to be politically correct.
This is a site where a guy can come and be a guy! What does that mean? It means there will be sports, it means there will be hot chicks, it means we will make fun of each other, it means we will give our male opinions on anything and everything. We will say the things that you are thinking but can’t always say. This will be an outlet. No nagging wives or girlfriends. Nobody passing judgement upon you.
FatGuySports.com is a site for a variety of discussions including Sports, Humor, Health, and all things “Cincinnati”. We are not using this medium for the promotion, exploitation or glorification of the obese, though we will tend to throw our weight around a bit. FatGuySports is an entity, or a collection, of thoughts, ideas and rants from regular guys with regular interests. We pursue this common interest with the nobility and vigor that we would reserve for a plate of wings or skillet of ‘tater skins. FatGuySports is a non-formal pursuit of ALL that is Sport, and all that is our town.
FatGuySports is driven by the collective desires of the staff team, to enhance our local sports awareness and push our personal agenda(s). We have a general interest in promoting local sports, but, since some of our teams tend to suck year in and year out, we expand to include those that we like for our own personal reasons, but we’re always rooting for the home squad!
FatGuySports.com will cater to the sports world, and to our community. We cover the games, the matches, the tournaments. We analyze the action on the fields, the LINKS, the pitch, the ice, the court and the track. We talk trades and suspensions, winning streaks and losing skids, Big contracts and tight playoff races….”MY” teams, “your” teams and anything else that it topical.
Our writers know their stuff, providing analysis through their articles and blogs, presenting a unique perspective beyond the final score. And we invite and encourage feedback and debate on our discussions.
