Delany and the BIG10 want a mulligan!

The BIG-”something”(They’re gonna keep using “Big10″, because they see it as a “Brand Name”) added a twelfth team this past year (Nebraska), and will now play a game on Thanksgiving Day weekend! All they had to do was make up a new logo, split up the 12 teams, name their divisions, and fix on a place to play their conference Championship Game! Seems simple, huh?
The LOGO is, uh, odd looking. OK, this is the real one…You liked the first one better, too, didn’t ya?
The location of the Title Game, is fair….The Split of teams looks pretty good,…
Leaders Division:
Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin
Legends Division:
Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern
…but, its the NAMES of the divisions that have been the cause of much laughter since they were announced. In fact, 90% of the fans disapprove of the names: “Leaders and Legends”?…and, Jim Delany and the boys are gonna have themsleves a “do-over”!
…”I think we have enough experience with names, and expansion and development of divisions, to know that you never, rarely, get 90 percent approval rating,” Delany said during the interview. “But to get a 90 percent non-approval rating was, you know, really surprising.”…..
…”It’s humbling, to say the least, because we’re trying to build fan bases, not push them away,” Delany said of the uproar caused by the new division names. “I was surprised. I’ve been around this business a long time, and it’s one of the more surprising things.”…
Can you help Mr Delany out on this one?….What should the division names be, in your opinion?
My suggestion: “Over-rated” and “”Average”…???….nah, just kidding. How ’bout “Dungeons” and “Dragons”?…
