Is the NFL serious? You’re going to suspend guys for bone crushing hits? I thought the reason these dudes got paid a Kings ransom to play a kids game is because of the beating their body takes. Like who woke up from the their coma on monday and said “hey, I didn’t know I was going to get hit like that, it’s not in my contract”. What a bunch of bullshit.
Anyone who has every played football knows that the guy that hits the hardest, usually gets up from the hit. If these guys start pulling up, easing up, and shit like that, they are only subjecting themselves to injury. Injuries are a part of the game, who doesn’t know that by now? I already think the league is getting soft by treating these QB’s like cheerleaders. Now they are asking guys “to be careful” and not hurt someone…..Get the fuck outta here. Offensive players are going to use this to their advantage. And now, instead of throwing a Hail Mary at the end of the game and hoping for a pass interference call, guys are going to be lowering their helmets and hoping to get DB’s ejected from the game.
Hey Commissioner let me ask you this……..Why is it that we can put a man on the moon, build bullet proof vests, and create alien type shit, but nobody can develop a helmet to coushin a blow? Hire an R&D department jackass. And get it done before everyone is suspended.
