So the alarm clock goes off this morning at an eye popping 6:15 a.m. I drop the hammer on the snooze button til 6:30, get up, light a newport, hop in the shower, brush my teeth and turn on the news for my morning update before I head off to my brain cell killing job as an IT admin. When suddenly, as if my ears have deceived me, I hear the chick on the news say something about how disappointed everyone is that Kris won and Adam didn’t.
I was like, WTF did she just say???
This is a competition isn’t it??? They did go through hundreds of thousands of wannabe rock stars to get to the final 2 didn’t they????
The only people disappointed are gay rights activists, PETA, and some transsexual in Nebraska!
Listen, Adam can sing. He’s a helluva vocalist. But his gay montage was just too much sometimes. His high pitched squeeling was reminiscent of Ned Beatty gettin mounted by inbred white trash in the movie “Deliverance”. The finger nail polish, the eye makup, the whole “I am gay hear me roar” ora was just too much.
Everyone knows the top 5 on A.I. usually get contracts and end up in the music business anyway. So don’t “cry for me Argentina” just yet.
But the problem I have is that I”m tired of society as a whole! The problem with this country is it’s made up of a bunch of pussies. This is a country of babies, whiners, spoiled brats, and sheltered ego’s. Everyone cries for the gay singer, they weep for the blind piano player, they condemn our country for how our national security deals (or allegedly tortures) with known terrorists. I think it’s time for everyone to shut the fuck up, grab a rifle, and stand a post! Lead, Follow, or get the fuck out of the way!
In the meantime, stop hating on Kris. What, because he’s not gay, disabled, doesn’t have a terminal disease, and seems to be a clean cut american kid we can’t vote for him?????

J-Hair said in Chicago, they were critical of Duhsty….but he says nothing about the “In Dusty we Trust” promotion that ran through that town his first year in, NAH!…that would hurt his chances of spreading his race agenda. Duhsty’s first year in Chicago was quite memorable, if you recall. In his first year with Chicago he inherited a SOLID team, and “took” them to the playoffs, only to MONUMENTALLY Fail against the Florida Marlins. In the Cubs’ case, of course, that’s just business as usual. They collapsed (and here’s where its kinda erily close to our ’09 Reds) despite a super pitching staff of: Woods, Prior (both before Baker burnt their arms up), Zambrano and Matt Clement!, who ALL won 13+ games that year!. They dropped the final 2 Home games, in the NLCS, and missed out on going to the World Series for the first time, in, like 4200 years!
Guess who (collectively) the city of Chicago blamed for that now infamous 2003 playoff loss? Baker, the manager?…NOPE!…Alex (not the Reds “ss” now) Gonzalez who booted an EASY DP ball?….NOPE AGAIN! ….Anyone ELSE on the team? No, guess who those RACIST Cub fans blamed for that 8-run 8th inning, and ugly ass loss in Game 6?…(For the record, they also got this guy on the hook forthe loss in Game seven?…yeah, and the manager and players involved were ALL given a “FREE PASS”!)……yeah, they blamed a skinny goofy white kid named Steve!! Jer’?..Let’s say YOUR credibility on this issue is not quite up to reality, huh?……about like the fans hate toward Steve Bartman was, for the game 6 loss wasn’t quite long on reality. The kid had to LEAVE the stadium, in fear for his safety…but old “Boot-the-Ball” Gonzo at shortstop?…NOTHING!…no one even MENTIONED his bone-head play for MONTHS down the road! The Cub fans just tired of Bake’s act and disappointing finishes with GOOD teams, and it took them 4 years to get to that point!

The Florida athletic program has won the SEC All-Sports Trophy for the 19th time in the past 22 years. The New York Times Regional Newspaper Group has awarded trophies to the men’s, women’s and overall champions since 1995 when the league decided to stop presenting an award.
Florida easily outdistanced second-place Georgia in the overall standings, compiling 162.50 points to Georgia’s 133.50 in 16 sports. The Gators won six SEC titles in the 2008-09 school year — football, soccer, women’s outdoor track and field, women’s swimming and diving, volleyball and softball.
Points are awarded based on each sports’ finish in conference play with 12 going to the first-place team. Each school’s total points are divided by the number of sports. This is Florida’s ninth sweep of the three categories — overall, men’s and women’s.
It’s the 16th win for the women’s program and 13th for the men’s.
“I’m very, very proud of our coaches and student-athletes,” said Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley. “It was a very, very good year for the Gators. Again, that’s a testimony to our coaches and their athletes.
“It’s something we take a lot of pride in. Everybody knows what a good league the SEC is. To win that trophy, it’s something all our athletes and coaches are trilled about, and so am I.”
LSU finished third in the overall competition with Tennessee fourth and Auburn fifth.
Florida’s men scored 70 points in seven sports for a 10.0 average while LSU was second at 8.21. In the women’s sports, Florida had an average of 10.28 compared to second-place Tennessee’s 9.06 average.
Florida is the only SEC school to win all three titles in one season.

Brandon Phillips is heating up, and the Reds 20-14 record reflects that surge!
Void of any competition as “Team Leader” or “Face of the Franchise”, Brandon has done well as a leading force;- AND in rebounding from a poor start. His position within the team is not discounted by the fact “NO ONE” else could step into that position. Collectively the Pitching staff has been a SOLID base for the team, but they need an every day face to go out and lead; and Phillips is the man! (ol Taco Bell ).
By showing 100% effort (not always his calling card in the past), his actions have fed the rest. He may have tanked it at times last year, and even early THIS year, but not lately! He’s made fielders pay for their lack of enthusiasm, like he did by taking 2nd off Eric Byrnes the other night; and making opposing pitchers think twice about his early hitting slump, by raking up timely rbi’s (of late) like they’re free!
I’m as surprised as most by the 20-14 start, and hope like hell they keep it up. Pitching is tUFf, hitting is coming around ( and they’ve averaged 4.6 runs a game over-all) and not shabby defense (not surprising that “EE” has been OUT!). The lone bad spot is Duh’sty,…but they could win despite his dellusions…..and if those two Gonzo and “EE” can just stay hurt?..well,….????

There was a fight at a Waffle House?…..NO you say!….Yeah, not too surprising, huh. Share a story where then isn’t a fight at a Waffle House, right?. Apparently, among the roach-egg omlets and the rat rump steaks, there was yet ANOTHER reason to throw down in a Waffle House! On THIS day, it was a waffle-flinging evoked cat fight!
Now, throwing a waffle in “THE” Waffle House is, from my recollection, a regular occurance. Heck, half the food I ate there came in air delivery!…..Also, AIM is generally poor there, so customer or employee “hits” are as common as a clean fork!…..So, how in the HAIL little Ms Ward (here) knew the difference on this day?….well, they apparently do have SOME rules at the Waffle House in SoCarolina!…..The faqh’n patio trays stay outside, damnit!!….
