We haven’t loaded up on A-Roid here at FGSports, due to the simple fact, when is enUFf enUFf?. Tainted records?….Since when has that cost a player ANYTHING?
Bonds?…what $$ did he pay?…lawyer fees? Had the moron not lied, he’d have skated like Giambi did! Did Mac-Roid or Sosa-dope lose any money?…..heck no!
All you that destroy Pete Rose need to take up the same cause against Barroids, Mac-n-Needle and A-Roid. “Just come clean dog”…see how well it worked for Pete?
Apparently the former Mrs A-Roid and Madonna both have offered to come forth and contend A-Roid is innocent!….at least as far as THEY are concerned. His ladies will atest for him- it appears, and so will his team-mates….well, at least during the months of September and October!
A-Roid: He’s going to talk this week, and what’s the smartest thing he can say? a) The Barry Bonds Route. Deny, deny, deny. b) Mark McGwire’s Silence: Steadfastly refuse to answer any questions about the topic. This will be impossible seeing as he’s in a clubhouse every day for many more years. c) False Positive. Play up the possibility of a false positive test. d) Andy Pettitte strategy. Admit fault, say you screwed up, call a press conference and answer every question. If you choose door D, then please explain how a healthy 27-year-old who hadn’t missed a game in three seasons defends cheating. The decision on how to handle this situation could be the most pivotal in the careers of Boras and A-Rod. Handled well, A-Rod may still get into the Hall of Fame and be regarded as one of the best ever. Handled poorly and the rabid NY media will make his life hell as long as he’s in pinstripes.
