14-year-old dresses up as cop,
reports to work
CHICAGO — Police say a 14-year-old boy has been charged with impersonating a police officer after he dressed in a regulation uniform and reported for duty at a Chicago police station.
Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says the Chicago teen was charged Sunday after he entered a station in the city’s South Side and claimed to be a police officer.
Bond says a sergeant later questioned the boy and discovered he wasn’t an officer. She says the boy is a member of a program for youth interested in police work.
She also says the boy was not armed and was never behind the wheel of a police car.
Police are not identifying the boy because he is a juvenile.
The department’s internal affairs division is investigating.
APPARENTLY, he was ALREADY “on-the-take”!…….

Little Killers Coming Back
If you are from Cincinnati, you remember Little Killers….7 oz bottles that made knocking back a case on your own pretty easy. Queen city Pony keg used to sell em for $8 a case back in 86. err wait….I never…Dad if you are reading this, we bought em for someone else, I didnt….eh never mind. Little Kings….the one beer to have…when you are having more than one.
Anyway, long story short, it’s back.
Little Kings joins Moerlein beer group
Beer baron Greg Hardman, on a mission to recreate Cincinnati’s brewing heritage, has acquired the Little Kings Cream Ale brand, famous for its seven-ounce green bottles.
The acquisition, completed late Tuesday from SBT Corp., an investment group in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.., where the ale is brewed, also completes the assembly of once-famous Cincinnati beer brands by Hardman’s Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

Ron White, at the Taft
I had the good fortune to catch the Ron White comedy act, last Friday night at the Taft theater. In a word AWESOME!….in another word, GENIUS-COMEDIAN! At 52, this guy is on top of his game! Brilliant!
This was a show you could see sober,…though if you do imbibe, go with the double-jack-n-Cokes (it was really Pepsi,…yak!)-they were a better value than the beers! Still, you didn’t need them, and unless you got them at the right time, or sent some idiot to the booth, don’t bother! Its not worth missing the act! I’m pretty sure 3 or 4 people in our row, actually died laughing!….yeah, it was risk dying in the audience good!
The opeing act, a Mex-Texan who married a UKentucky Hill-billy was good too, but Mr White clearly showed why he was the Head-liner there! If you get a chance to go, DO IT!….Even it means turning tricks in the OTR to raise the $$$$….yeah, its “bone-a-skid-row-bum-for-his-milk-money” good!…..

When we were getting beat 56-12 in Little league Baseball (and I’ll never forget that game) no one told the other team to tank an AB…they hit, and it was our job to stop ‘em…..we didn’t. (the game WAS 12-12 going into the top of the last inning, btw!…yes!,..they scored 44 runs in the top of the inning!)
Anyway,….Mommy’s didn’t rush onto the field and demand the big bad Coach lay down his arms!….We didn’t cry and quit!….we took the beating ’cause we couldn’t stop ‘em!…We were given the valuable lesson that day. These “girls” should get theirs, and just move on.
Every where you look, we’re purposely trying to bring the Smart down to the level of the stupid,…the physically gifted, down to the uncorrdinated. Dumb it down to the lowest common denomenator America…its sickening!
Like the great SOSpurrier once said “Those who can score, score!…Those that can’t, complain about those that can”!
If you are that bad, to lose 100-0, maybe try knitting, or some OTHER sport you can play in a skirt!

..how things are done in Cincinnati!
In 2003, Marvin got the call to coach up the North (College Seniors) squad in the Senior Bowl,…their response?…A 28-10 loss to the South.
Once again, Lewis got the nod to guide the North Squad (here in 2009) and his Bungle wisdom shown brightly once again. This time to the tune of a 35-18 drubbing by the South. Once a Bungle, always a Bungle!
Some NFL coaches use this opportunity to get to know the players better, Marvin uses it so that they (the players) get to know ( and expect from) him (and the Bungle organization!) better!
And we thought it was ALL just Son-of-Paul!.

Lawmakers complain about the BCS,….STILL!
What a load of wasted Bail-out bucks!….Lawmakers on Fat-Cat Hill ( but specifically from Cali, Utah and Texas) stage a protest of the BCS “system”, and dispel Florida’s 2008 title. Well, in typical hypocritical manner these bozo’s apparently forget this is how its been done since 1998. Yeah, this ISN’T NEW EGG-HEADS!
Texass and UCSw have won Titles under this “system”, but apparently things were just FINE in those years…yeah, no bitching and moaning going on when the “system” played to their FAVOR!…..and Utah, they made THEIR case AFTER the Bowls were played, not before. Beating Michy by 2, and dismissing New Mex 13-10 DOES matter! But let’s only look at the win over Bama, here, right?
Forget the other 850 Billion (that’s BILLION, with a “B”) things going wrong in the USofA yee elected officials, you’ve got a beef with the BCS!…and why?…DIVERSION!!!! You haven’t proven a THING in Washington, but you want to take on College Football!?!?!?! We’ve seen what can happen in YOUR World, so you will excuse me if I don’t want YOU to happen to College Football!
The Texas whine is (still) the most difficult to understand. They didn’t win ANYthing in the BIG12, and needed a last minute TD against tOSU to pull off their Bowl win….in a game they were favored to win by 8….they didn’t even cover the spread! So, they didn’t win their division much less their conference, but they want the Title?….WOW!
The bottom line is, you don’t have to LOVE the system, but as long as its in place, its in place. Whether you disapprove of THIS Title or one of the others….I tell you what, as a gesture of good faith, why don’t Texas and USCw forfiet their National titles (won under the BCS and ALL those others NOT won by use of a playoff) then we’ll believe they are serious about change!…No takers?…thought not!
